Welcome to the ACS Website. We are pleased that you are interested in ACS, and welcome the opportunity to share information with you about our school.
ACS is very proud of its history and traditions. ACS first opened its doors in 1955 with 6 students. Over the years ACS has grown to 428 students, KG3-Grade 12, representing 27 different nationalities. The present facility is located in Calacoto in the residential area of La Paz.
Students graduating from ACS may earn a US Diploma and a Bolivian Bachillerato. The rigorous US and Bolivian curriculum prepares students to attend top universities in the US, Bolivia, and any other university in the world. Secondary students have the opportunity to participate Model UN, Global Issues Network (GIN), Classroom Without Walls (CWW), and athletics. Elementary students have an opportunity to explore a wide variety of after school activities.
Students learn about community service from elementary through secondary. Upper elementary and secondary students go into the La Paz community and work with orphanages, facilities for people with developmental disabilities, facilities for the elderly, and Habitat for Humanity. Students are also encouraged to identify a community service project that they want to provide. All CWW experiences also have a community service component.
Please let us know if you would like to visit our campus and learn more about ACS. We are very proud of our school and would enjoy sharing it with you.

Please send anything you can with your children. High school students will collect them from each individual classroom.
