Game design was also another very fun module. I worked with a partner and we discovered and played the game marathon. In this module we basically had to create a map for the marathon game. To do this we used the program called Forge. It was basically like being the architect for a house except this time it was for an entire game design map. Game design is very detailed, meaning that the brightness of the walls, the height of the ceiling, the texture of the floor etc., all matters. Everything is important. We first designed our map on a 2-D grid then when we previewed it, it went to 3-D mode and were able to add all the details and actually see a 3-D model of what our map would look like. Once done with putting in all weapons and finishing the design of the map we did what we wanted to do most since the beggining of the project: play the map that we made. Let me tell you, it was fun. A suggestion I would give you for this module would be to have an open space and a closed space just to make the map interesting and different.
