Web Page 1 Banner

The first project I did this semester was Web Page 1: Mozilla, which I remembered a lot of from the previous years in technology, even though the last time I had technology was 3 years ago. I decided to do this web page by myself because I wanted to know if I remembered anything and because of the topic. For this first web page I decided to have the theme be my favorite soccer team, and my favorite team isn’t exactly everybody else’s favorite team especially because my favorite team is Peruvian. I started by making the symbol that characterizes the team, and because it wasn’t a free image I had to do it by myself using Photoshop. Once done with that I did the banner for the home page. I used that banner as a background for the rest so that the web page would show some type of standard design. I kept the rest of the background white to keep it pretty simple and then I even made the links exactly the same, which I think s what I was supposed to do.

When I was done with all of the layouts, including the banners and the linking I preceded to the writing. I really didn’t like this part of the project, not only because I only had to write 3 different pages that were 1 to 3 paragraphs each but also because I hate writing and I already get enough of it during English class. The part I liked the most about this project was the “Photoshoping” part because I had something to do all of the time, I would find new and better effects to use in the backgrounds. Believe it or not I enjoyed doing the banner for this place more than I did for the web page, not only because I had more freedom, but also because I could keep on adding things and had no problem because there were very little restrains. This web page helped me remember all of my past years in technology and re-learn some facts and tricks about Mozilla and Photoshop. I basically picked this module to be my first on because it combines Mozilla and Photoshop.
