The first module of the semester that I completed was the Digital Photo Editing module. This module was probably the easiest module because I have already done Photoshop many times throughout the years and only seven tutorials were required. My partner was Adriana. I have to admit that we did not have many problems during our time working together because we just had to do what the tutorials said to do. Although we had both already done many tutorials in Photoshop, this was a learning experience for both of us!
Adriana and I thought we were experts at Photoshop, but since this was the first module we had to do since last year, we realized we had forgotten many things. This was our chance to re-learn everything from Photoshop again. We would need these skills for the rest of the semester, so we decided to study from our pre-test and get working on the tutorials. Many of the tutorials were easy to work with because they told you every single detail to get the picture just right. Other tutorials expected you to know your Photoshop, so those were the hardest tutorials to work with. Though some tutorials were hard most were very straight-forward and we had almost no trouble at all editing our images.
Out of all the tutorials we worked on, our favorite on was the molten planet tutorial. This tutorial was amazing to us because with just very few special effects, we got a planet that was burning up. We decided to use the skills we learned in this tutorial for our final project. Instead of making the tutorial red, this time we made it pink and put ourselves in the picture. I think that the molten planet tutorial really helped spark our ideas for the final project and it came out great. In conclusion, the Digital Photo Editing module was the easiest and most fun module to work on.
