As my first module I did photoshop.  Photoshop allows you to edit or create images as seen in my collage above.  The screenshots from the collage show the steps I followed to create the "Earth Ablaze" tutorial.  You start with the black circle seen in the top left, then use the cloud effect a couple of times until the circle seems to be covered in clouds.  After that you must use the color balance to give it a redish tone so it looks like the planet is on fire.  Then you create a new document that is only a black background and mess around with the contrast to make the stars appear.  Last you copy the planet, paste it to the background and give it an outer glow.  This is an easy tutorial that helps learn some of the many things that photoshop can do, if you would like to learn how to do it click on this link.  http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial/Earth-Ablaze/9053 I choose to do this module alone because it was my first time doing photoshop so I wanted to learn how to do everything by myself.  This is a great module, probably the best one because it teaches you how to do almost anything with an image.   You learn how to create/modify an image to your liking.  This module has  thousands of applications, for example, the image you see above was done in photoshop.
