Video Production || Game Design || Video 1 Advanced || Bibliography
This year *cough*, semester in technology I worked on four modules.  All these modules were fun and definately worth the time I put into them.  Mr. Dierkes' class offers many modules to work on, and trust me, I mean many modules.  So, obviously the hardest thing that came up here was "what do I choose, what should I do?"  there were so many different modules to choose from.  Being in my Junior year I needed one class that could serve as a catharsis of sorts, so I decided to make it tech class.  So my main focus was fun things that I could enjoy working on, but that would still challenge me so that I wouldn't get bored with how easy the modules were.  It turned out, that out of all the modules that were available to me, the funnest was probably Video Production.  I then decided I would try some Audio Production, then Game Design, and finally Video One Advanced.  To keep things short I will just cover three out of the four modules that I worked on.  Each different module had different requisites, and required different programs (or a more indepth understanding of the program as I soon learned in Video 1 Advanced).

Video Production
Video Productoin pretty much speaks for itself.  In order to complete this module I had to come up with an innovative 3 minute or less movie.  In order to make this movie I had to film using a school-provided camera.  The movie would be based upon a story/script that I would write up.  After all the filming is done the film was put on to a computer for editing.

Game Design
The other module that I worked on was Game Design.   This module required me to work with the Game Marathon Infinity, and the editing program for the game, called Forge.  The object of this module was to create a fully functional multiplayer map that would support all types of game play.

Video 1 Advanced
This module required the same things as video one, only that there were some key differences.  This module also required the use of Adobe Image Ready.  In this module we would need to depend upon Image Ready in order to create animations that would be exported into the movie.  Video one advanced also increased the time limit of the video to six minutes instead of three this time. This module also required us to know some basic filiming techiniques suc h as jump cuts, graphic matches, and soundbridges, etc.
