First I did the text the says "CHON" creating layers for light and placing them in different angle so as to make it striking.  Then I did the molten planet (the big red ball) using textures, hues, and bevel and emboss to make it stick out.  To create the stars I used the predetermined shape and just shrunk it.  Next was my friend Daniel holding the light saber.  To do this I took a picture of him holding a rolled up magazine and then created the light saber in Photoshop by duplicating layers.  Further, the shooting stars were done, once again, using the predetermined shape, then just connected at a point, and multiplied.  Last both the ball and the medal were made with bevel and emboss, and using gradient to create the effect of light.
