....Welcome to our Empathy Website....

Empathy is kind of like when your friend's hand hurts, and you know what it feels like because your knee hurts, and that's because he hit your knee with his hand and now both of you hurt, and you understand each other, thats empathy.
Empathy is also when you feel what somebody else is feeling, even though you're not feeling that, so Empathy = ESP.

Now we're gonna get a bit serious. Well, wait a sec...
Michael: (whispering) Hey Kevin, are we ever serious???
Kevin: (whispering back) Hmm.... uh.... no.
Michael: (whispering) Oh, ok, I'll inform the fans.
We're never serious.

Now for once in our lives.... twice in our lives, we are going to be serious.
(The first time we were serious was when... well, we can't think of anything, so
it is the first time we're serious.)

Ok, let's get to the point.
In reality (well, YOUR reality, in case you didn't notice already, we're living in The Matrix),
Empathy is: identification with and understanding another's situation, feelings, and motives. Kind of like pity, compassion, and comprehension wound up in one big bunch.
That is according to the dictionary.

Michael: (whispering) Did we ever actually check the dictionary?
Kevin: (whispering) Naah, we just got this off the top of our heads.
Michael: (whispering) Does this mean we're lying to the fans?
Kevin: (whispering) Well, it's not lying... it's called withholding vital information.
Michael: (whispering) You're kidding, right? We did get this from a dictionary, didn't we.
Kevin: (whispering) You mean one of those big thick books? Well duh! It was kind of annoying though, I hardly made it to chapter E. I stopped then, it got kinda boring.
Michael: PHEW!

Okay, just go check the links.
