Reflection on Trials

Overall I think all 30 trials went well. And that it was easier than I thought it would be. The easiest break man most successful was the corner break or "way 1". The hardest and most unsuccessful break was the center pressure break or "way 2". It was the hardest because I had to apply the most amount of pressure and only broke it correctly one time. The main error that occurred was in the center pressure break. I think that was because it was hard to get the bone suspended between two flat and even surfaces, and then break it exactly in the middle.
In general my experiment went well and my hypothesis was incorrect. I thought that the two-point pressure break would go the easiest. Unfortunately that was not true, and the corner break was.

Raw Data

Amount of Pressure Applied!

The Corner Break (way 1)
Out of the 10 trials in "way 1" or the corner break, I applied "low" pressure to 3. I applied "low/medium" pressure to 2. I applied "medium" pressure to 5, and "high" pressure to none.

The Center Pressure Break (way 2)
Out of the 10 trials in "way 2" or the centre pressure break, I applied "low" pressure to none. I applied "medium" pressure to none. And I applied "high" pressure to 10.

The Two Point Pressure Break (way 3)
Out of the 10 trials in "way 3" or the two point pressure break, I applied "low" pressure to none. I applied "medium" pressure to 5. I applied "medium/high" pressure to 4, and "very high" to 1.

Bone Splintering!

The Corner Break (way 1)
Only 2 bones slightly splintered out of the 10 breaks.

The Center Pressure Break (way 2)
5 out of the 10 trials in the centre pressure break splintered.

The Two Point Pressure Break (way 3)
Again only 2 out of the 10 bones slightly splintered.

Errors!

The Corner Break (way 1)
None out of the 10 trials had any error or default!

The Center Pressure Break (way 2)
8 out of the 10 trials had an error or a default in it!

The Two Point Pressure Break (way 3)
Only 2 out of the 10 trials had an error or default in it.
