The word Kentucky comes from old
times when Indians meant "Kenta" which means level or land in the south
central part of the state.
In the year 1767 Daniel Boone first entered the new Kentucky State. In 1774 in the area of Kentucky were the first American settlements called Harrodstown but today called Harrodsburg. In 1792 Kentucky became the 15th state on June 1. Bolivia's history involves many positive details as well as some negative ones. Bolivia gained its independence August 6, 1825 by the man called Simon Bolivar. Many wars have affected the size of Bolivia. These wars have left Bolivia land locked. |
