North Carolina has a very long
"things to do list," Although the
neighborhoods in North Carolina are tranquil and relaxed, the Carolina
- Duke Games are quiet the opposite. Even though the basketball season
doesn’t begin until November it’s a wait, worth while. Theses two
basketball teams are in constant battle, with tee shirts that claim
"friends don’t let friends go to Duke," and there is a rumor that Duke
came onto UNC campus and urinated in the old well. So as you can see
the rivalry between these two teams is tremendous. Golf is the next
thing to check off on our lists of things to do. The golf courses are
located in the sand hills; the whole location is basically a resort
with stables and nearby lodgings. The resort includes a driving range
and a "learn to golf," school. One of the best golfers known teed off
at Quail Hollow Club, Charlotte, North Carolina Tiger woods on May 6-9
2004. The next check on our list is the North Carolinian beach. The
beach is always a hot spot during the summer, there isn’t much to tell
because everyone knows about the beach. The next item to cross out is
food! Yum, yum, and yum! Dining in North Carolina is varied, as it is
in any state. If you are looking for a nice place to get break fast
there’s always the pancake house or the waffle house. But if you are
craving for something fried then "Bo jangles" is a must the southern
ice
tea is the best in the south there at Bo jangles. That’s another thing
if you are in North Carolina and you want some nice hot tea, then you
better say you want "hot" tea because if you say "I would like some tea
please" they will bring you southern iced tea which in my opinion is a
high quality drink. If you like dining like a king then "The Top of the
Hill," lunch and dinner there is to die for.
Compared to Bolivia North Carolina is allot more advanced tourism-wise. In Bolivia the "chill-out" area would either be the only Burger King in zona sur. Or pherhaps "San Miguel" which is most of the comercial area in La paz (the capital). For food in bolivia its very closed. There is only one world-wide known fast food restaurant Burger king. Although you can get a full 4 part meal for less than a dollar! If your looking to dine fancy (and expensive for bolivia) you can get a shrimp dinner at "La Swiss" for $14 's but for bolivia that is a lot for here. |
