Illinois has 5 geographic regions. The north west corner of the state is made up of hilly lands. The prairie soil has mild acidity and moderate fertitlity. In the north eastern zone of Illinois there is a flat land area. This area is not well drained and it is quite swampy. The soil is normally fertile in this area. The third major region is the Till Planes. They cover up most of the state. The soil  is normally brown prairie style. The southern Till Planes are interior low plateus. That was the fourth  region of Illinois.  The final and  fifth region is the  very low south. Its nickname is little Egypt because of its similar looks to the Nile Delta in Egypt. This region is poorly drained and has alot of sand and clay. Drainage in Illinois goes south and west, except near lake Michigan. In Illinois there are many tributaries for the Mississippi. These tributaries drain more than two thirds of Illinois. There are not man lakes in Illinois but there are big bodies of water created by dams. Unlike Bolivia the geography of Illinois is relatively flat. It depends on what section of Bolivia you are talking about if you talk of the planes in the east then we have a similaritybut if we talk about La Paz and mos of the west we do not have a similarity.
