Tourism is very important for Maryland because of its large diversity of land features.  The three major cities of interest are Annapolis, Baltimore, and Ocean City. Annapolis is mostly known around the country for its historic buildings and the old buildings, mansions, and churches.  The Maryland State House located in Annapolis is the oldest state house still in legislative use. Ocean City is Maryland’s sea resort that has beautiful views of the ocean and it has clean sandy beaches.  There are events and festivals through out the year and water sports and fishing attractions are important to the city’s tourism.
Baltimore is the largest city in Maryland, and it has many points of interest like the National Aquarium, the Harbor place, the Babe Ruth Birthplace, the National Monument, and the Historic Shrine.  The harbor place contains many stores and there is a wide variety of entertainment.  The Babe Ruth Birthplace exhibits films, photographs, and clothes that the greatest legend of baseball used.  The National Monument and the Historic Shrine are important for America because this inspired Francis Scott Key in writing the national anthem - "Star Spangled Banner."
Bolivia is also known as a tourist country and it is usually because of its outstanding geography.  Unlike Maryland, Bolivia attracts many tourists to Lake Titicaca, the Madidi National Park, and Mount Illimani.  It also contains historic features and museums as Maryland does also.  Tourism for both Maryland and Bolivia are important because it contributes to their respective economies.
