Texas does not count on tropical rain forest or large hydrographical  sites but its great deserts, canyons, and mountains  are ravishing too.  These geographical characteristics are the base of man national parks and some examples of these features are resplendent in particular.
The Guadalupe Mountains National Park is group of mountains located on the west of Texas.  This national park is a perfect representation of the fauna and the landscape of the western side of the United States.  There is very little green, yet the enchanting beauty of the cactus-filled hills and rattle of the snakes manages to compensate that.  In here, there are also plenty of caves with stalagmites and stalactites where life takes place in the night. There is nothing more exciting than a tour in Las Marías Caves.
But if national parks and nature are not your type of thing, there are also many interesting places in Texas built by humans and closer to civilization.
