groups in the country. there are 2,770,275 (48.7%) males anbd 2,919,008
(51.3%) females in the state. White people make up 80.2% of the
population; blacks number 16.4%. american Indians have 15,152, Asians
56,662 and other races have 56,036 people. The number of
Hispanic/latinos is 123,838. Tennesee has seen a growth of its
diversity over the last several years llike most other states. |
