| Hawaii became US property in
August 21, 1959. It is the 50th state in the US. Honolulu is the
capital of Hawaii. It became the capital of Hawaii in 1804. Hawaii's
nickname is "The Aloha State". It took Hawaii more than fifty years of
campaigning for statehood status. |
