main source of income is tourism. One of the major points of
interest is Mount Rushmore. Mount Rushmore has four of the
greatest United States presidents: Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and
Jefferson. Mount Rushmore is in the Black Hills and costed about
a million dolars to build. Mount Rushmore was built by Gutzon
Borglum from 1927 to 1944. This mountain is about sixty feet high
and twenty feet long. This monument gets about 1,972,289 visitors
every year. |
