As development in  all distinguished ways has granted Colorado a suitable life for its people, its beginning dates back to thousands of years ago. The area where Colorado is located was established by nomadic hunters as their temporary homeland 10,000 years ago. The cliff dwellers of the Anasazi lived in Colorado regions. The Anasazi leaved before and during Spanish invasions. Other tribes such as the Utes lived in mountains or in plains during the European explorations. The Spanish were the first explorers from the colonization to explore Colorado from the east. The first Spanish expedition was the one of  Fransisco Coronado in 1541. As the uprising demand for wealth and power increased many Spanish explorations continued until the 18th century. The main purpose of these expeditions were gold refining and colonial rivalry between French and Spanish. With the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 the United States owned more territory that use to belong to the French colonies in the south stretching to central Colorado. Although a portion of Colorado 's  territory remained out of American land after this treaty. The Spanish controlled this area. After Mexican authority in Colorado ended. The people of this state discovered valuable gold near Denver which created an influx of settlers who established mining camps. These settler proclaimed  it Territory of Jefferson although not recognized by congress. In the last century many technological, environmental and cultural improvents where made such as the construction of science labs, research centers, National Parks and others. Colorado has constantly progressed with geographical difficulties  and simplifications.

The history of Colorado has similar characteristics to the history of Bolivia, as well as large differences. Both have to do with colonization from Europe settlers. The indigenous people of the Americas were both affected by the ambitions of the colonizers. In Bolivia the Spanish controlled the area while in U.S. the English, the French and the Spanish did. Both developed with problems and strengths, although Bolivia was greatly affected by its corrupt leaders. Colorado was benefited by its great leaders and monetary resources it found to develop.
