Everybody is waiting for the Hatching. The candidates hear the first exhalation of the crowd, as an egg cracks, and a dragon had choses his rider. Desperation increases Keevan to the hatching ground. Another exited applause puts Keevan into great effort. He needs to be there in time! There may not be a dragon for him. Keevan finally enters the hatching ground and No one notices that his entrance. Suddenly a large gap appears in the human wall around the activities, and Keevan has his first sight of the eggs. Suddenly he wishes that he hadn't left his bed, that he stayed away from the hatching ground.
