Home school is when you
stay at home and get taught by your mom, dad or a paid teacher. Your
parents have to buy all your books and there can be a whole lot of
them! A neat thing about home schooling is that when ever dad or mom
have a few days off, you can go to theme parks, go camping or other
neat places. With or without your books! You can home school any grade.
A disadvantage with home schooling is that if public school kids get a
day off because of snow or flooding, you still have to do school!
Depending on where you live, you can get connected with a local home
school group. It’s lots of fun. You might think that being home
schooled, you won’t have any friends. But within the home school group,
you get really close to some people. You may not get to see them every
day, but you can make life lasting friendships.
