| The Immune System is a system in
your body which defends your body from
sicknesses. A serious and fatal disease of the Immune System is AIDS.
30 million of people have been infected with HIV and 6.4 million have
died by AIDS. AIDS means Acquired Immune Defiency Syndrome. HIV and
AIDS is now a world wide crisis. AIDS is a deadly sickness which makes
you a magnet to other deadly diseases. Some diseases you can get are on
your skin, nervous system, digestive system and even in your lungs. It
kills your Immune System down. To get AIDS you must usually pass through HIV which later converts to AIDS. Some ways to get AIDS is by sexual content or an exchange of fluids with a person that is already infected. Another way to get AIDS is by using a needle or vaccine that has already be used on a infected person. You could also be born with HIV. Nobody really knows how it all started. One theory is that it started in sub-Saharan Africa where they trespassed the blood from a monkey to people. AIDS has terrifying symptoms. First you get uncertain ill healths than you start to get night sweats and fevers. You also get diarrhea that continues to weight loss and all of these lead to an exposure to sicknesses leading to death. There is no cure for AIDS but there are pills to slower it down. So watch out for AIDS. |
