My parts are skin and mucus. Skin is the largest body organ that protects you from germs. Bacteria, a type of germ, are one-celled creatures that get nutrients from their environment to live. Viruses are creatures that must be inside of a living thing. Fungi are multi-cells, plant like organisms that make their own food.Protozoa are one-celled creatures that love moisture. Skin has many parts to it like the epidermis which is the part that you can see. Another part is the dermis that contains the nerve endings and blood vessels.also there is the subcutaneous fat. Although the skin is important so is mucus. Mucus is a very important element in the immune system. Mucus covers the genitals, airways, and the stomach. It is a sticky substance that captures germs it can be swallowed or spit out.If the germ is caught in th nose then the cilia will move mucus toward the pharynx. Mucus is yellowish-clear -greenish liquid that is formed inside all of us.

The most common diseases are the flu and the measles. The flu is an infection that causes the fever, chills, cough, body aches and headaches. The flu lasts about a week or two. I you have the flu, try to get some sleep and drink lots of fluids and you'll get better soon.  The measles is a highly contagious respiratory illness, but is very rare.  The symptoms are  a hacking cough, watery red eyes, high fever, and a rash. To decrease the chance of getting these illnesses then you must get your vaccines.

There are a couple of vaccines that you should get like the MMR vaccine. You should also get the Varicella vaccine. Also you might want to get the Influenza vaccine. Although there are many others these are the most important.
