The function of
the male
reproductive system is to produce new human beings. The testes transfer
sperm to the female body. the sperm is located in the testes also known
as testicles.It takes about 78 days for sperm to mature. Sperm can live
in the female body for about 48 hours. Sperm goes through the urethera
and into the bladder. Then it goes through the penis and out to the
female body. Sperm production begins at the age of puvirty and
continues throughout life. The scrotum holds the testes in its place.
It is also the outer skin of the body. The testes and the penis are
located outside of the body because the normal body temperature is to
hot for sperm to live. The normal body temperature is 3 or 4 degrees
higher than the usual for sperm to live. So it really isn't good to
take hot showers because sperm cant live with hot temperature so they
die.
