Introduction | What They Are | Passengers | Construction of the Boats
In order to reach the Island of the Sun, the sixth graders traveled by water from the Huatajata Harbor. They did this by riding Crillon Tours'  Lake Titicaca hydrofoils. The boat ride was approximately 45 minutes long and it was bumpy most of the way but the panorama was unbearable. I think it felt much like being on a sea-going bus. Many of the sixth graders felt very comfortable on the long boat ride, however, others didn't. I myself enjoyed it very much, and I think it was awesome.
