A farmers life was tough and unfair. Most farmers would work on the field almost the whole day. Dear diary,                                                                                                                   Monday           Today was a sad and tragic day. My baby son died by a deadly sickness but I have to go on with my life. My crops are starting to die but the Nile flood is going to start soon. As every year I have been messaged that I will be working with the King for a while. The other farmers are also going. We will be building another pyramid. I think it’s a little unfair because finally we get to have a break but the King is making us go and build a pyramid. Dear diary,                                                                                                                 Tuesday           My son was embalmed today but we don't have a tomb for him. Last night after writing in my diary I saw a group of bandits sneacking in the old Kings tomb. Tomorrow I will be leaving to go work on that pyramid for the King. After a couple of days of working I will ask the King if he could make a tomb for my baby or probably I will just wait for my tomb and put him in there. Dear diary,                                                                                                                   Wendsday      The Nile will start to flood by tonight. I am worried that my wife will get wounded so I sent her to her parents house were its more protected. Before she left she gave me a amulet. She said it would give me protection. As I was working I noticed that most farmers had the same amulet. I asked a guy what it was and he replied that it was the " Eye of Horus " amulet. As it was raining a worker that pulls the perfectly square rocks slipped on some of the water and caused his death. He let go and slipped which made the other 2 not be able to support the rock. He fell down the partly made pyramid. He was smashed by the rock, a horrible accident. I am starting to get frightened.
