All the students that participated in the Egyptian presentation were dressed from queens to very poor labors. I mean, what’s the point in having a guide wearing jeans and Bolivia shirt leading you around Egypt? So, we all chose an Egyptian character to dress up as and that would be our uniform to guide people in.  We hoped this would put a magical touch on our presentation.  It did.

The tour guides were dressed as Egyptian pharaohs, queens, and all types of specialized workers from different social classes. Some of the characters wore black kohl around there eyes, ruby red lipstick, and green eye shadow. The girls wore long, white linen dresses that went all the way down to their ankles. The boys, depending on who they were, wore white kilts with pleats. There were lots of great Egyptian costumes and each costumes told an ancient story.   Also, it was fun to dress up as someone who today lives only in books.
