| Mrs. Chichi had told us that we
had to know everything that everyone had researched and had to be Tour
Guides. At first, my class was shocked at the fact that we were going
to be tour guides. We all thought that it was going to be embarrassing
to take people through our little part of Egypt. We studied but then we
realized we didn’t know everything, specially the subjects the other
class had researched. We researched using flash cards and the
information the other class had given to Miss Chichi and by the day of
the presentation we knew everything. Guiding was hard, as we couldn’t say the same thing to our band teacher as to our little brother. We also had to change languages. We didn’t like people that didn’t pay attention to us or were goofing around during the presentation. Being a Tour Guide made us learn a lot about Egyptian people and life. Most of the people paid a lot of attention. In our comment book, not even one comment was negative. Our props were well made but I think we could of done some more. It would be fun being a tour guide again! |
