Frog Mummies | Parent Comments | Reflections | Bibliography
There was a lot of information that we to organize for in the expo. First we split up into many groups and we researched different topics.

Our topic was the pyramids, and the Sphinx. There was a lot of information shown on the day of the expo. Some of the facts that we learned were that the Nile River was called the black land because of the mud it left on the banks; the Nile was also used for transportation. In a divorce the wife would keep the children. Their houses were made from mud bricks and the Egyptians played a game that many people still play today, chess. One very important pharaoh was Hatshepsut the queen that expanded Egypt’s trade. Archeologists think that ramps were used to carry the giant stone blocks up the pyramids. They showed stories in their paintings. Egyptians used hieroglyphics for their writing. The Egyptians mummified their dead so that their spirits would remain alive in the after life.
