Our costumes were different from everybody else’s. Instead of being gods or pharaohs we chose to be Imohtep, the designer of the first pyramid and a worker.

| We all had to dress up as
Egyptian characters for the presentation to give the parents the
feeling like they were really in Egypt. The most common costume was a
pharaoh with the crown of Upper Egypt. Other costumes were mummies,
gods such as Seth and Anubis, and slaves. Our costumes were different from everybody else’s. Instead of being gods or pharaohs we chose to be Imohtep, the designer of the first pyramid and a worker. |
