I Manage files and folders.
01 ___Folders, web pages, and images are structured as shown in the "cwwfinal_folderlayout" example folder (see images inside). (50 pts.)

02 ___All folder and file names use lower case, no spaces, and no symbols except underscore. (10 pts.)

03 ___All files have the proper extension (.html, .gif, .jpg, etc.). (10 pts.)

04 ___The web page file name of the home page is called "index.html". (10 pts)

05 ___The web page names and file names are named appropriately according to your page topics. (10 pts.)

06 ___ The images used are the ones assigned to be used by Mr. D. (from the "cww_8thpics_sep2005" folder) (10 pts.)

II Use a variety of software to produce electronic documents that incorporate text, graphics, video and sound.
07___Each image measures 640w by 200h pixels, 72 px/in resolution on a white background. (20 pts.)

08___Each of the four web pages has text that is left-justified, with no indentions, and from four to nine sentences in length. (20 pts.)

09___Each web page has one gif or jpg that you created with the assigned CWW images and Adobe PhotoShop. (10 pts.)

10___Your home page (index.html) introduces your three Sucre-Potosi CWW topics. (15 pts.)

11___ One web page's text has two haiku poems that relate to that page's topic. (15 pts.)

12___The two remaining web pages' text use free writing (i.e. write however you want) that reflects your experiences during the CWW trip for these two particular topics. (20 pts.)

III Produce electronic documents that address layout, structure and design.
13___All web image (jpg's or gif's) file sizes do not exceed 45 kilobytes. (15 pts.)

14___All web pages use one invisible html table to organize content. (5 pts.)

15___Each invisible html table width is 640 pixels. (5 pts.)

16___Each invisible html table is centered on each web page. (5 pts.)

17___ One web image is collage of at least four pieces (layers) of other CWW images and each piece is not feathered and has a stroke of color around it. (15 pts.)

18___ One web image is collage of at least four pieces (layers) of other CWW images with feathered edges and no stroke. There are no gaps between the feathered layers. (15 pts.)

19___ At least one of the four images has a text layer. (10 pts.)

20___All web pages link to each other and no page links to itself. (30 pts.)

V Student writes in accordance with Six Traits Writing guidelines.
21___Conventions (Spelling): All spelling is 100% correct. (30 pts.)

22___Conventions (Capitalization): Proper capitalization rules are applied. (30 pts.)

23___Voice (You): Your personal voice comes through your writing . The reader gets a strong sense that you care about your writing and are the person behind the words. (40 pts.)

24___All final images on your web page are created entirely by you using the assigned CWW images from FirstClass. (20 pts.)

25___All file and folder names DO NOT use student names and no student names appear in the text of any of the web pages. (40 points)

26___Each web page has text written by you and only by you. (20 pts.)

27___A copyright statement (with your first name only) has been placed at the bottom of your page to protect your work. (20 pts.)
